Two Maids & A Mop has endured two major hurricanes that essentially brought the business to a standstill. Most recently, we've fought to combat the global economic meltdown. It's safe to say that we've waged some intense battles with the market. But the good news is that we've won the war. During all those devastating storms and economic slowdowns, we've done nothing but continue to grow at breakneck speed. Why?

Well, I would love to claim the prize but the real reason is because we offer something no one else offers. Our customers understand that they're hiring much more than a simple cleaning lady. They're hiring a professional housecleaning company that provides safety, security, reliability, dependability and most importantly, top-notch quality housecleaners. We do this because of our Pay For Performance Plan. Plain and simple.

Since we opened on that scary April Fool's Day in 2003, we've grown from just three part-time employees to more than 40 employees in three offices along the panhandle of Florida. When I look back, I wonder how it all happened!!

But the feel good story doesn't end here. No - not at all. In fact, the feel good story is about to feel a whole lot better because we're growing again.

Two Maids & A Mop is proud to announce that we'll be serving Birmingham, AL in the near future. Beginning on October 5, 2009, we'll be providing the same level of service and professionalism to residents in Jefferson and Shelby County, Alabama!!!

Between now and then, keep your eyes posted to our website and blog. We've already devised the biggest grand opening in the history of maid service grand openings (seriously!). Plus, we plan on blogging about opening as much as possible. We'll provide you with some fun pictures of our first few days/weeks so that you can appreciate how much time and effort goes into making a Two Maids & A Mop.

Thanks for the last six years. I can't wait to see where we are in another six years!!! Get ready Birmingham - here comes Two Maids & A Mop.......
