It's been a crazy few weeks. I've had to juggle running our three current businesses in Florida. I've had to find time to furnish our new office in Birmingham. I've had to guerilla market our grand opening at DirtGobblers.com. I've had to create thousands of direct mail pieces all by myself for our new office in Birmingham. And oh yeah, I've had to move all of my personal belongings from Florida to Birmingham!!
Needless to say, I've been very busy. But make no mistake, I've loved every minute of it!! Creating a business out of thin air in one of our country's worst economic periods is an extreme challenge. It's scary but fun at the same time. Just like our three offices in Florida, I can't wait to see where we are twelve months from now. Something tells me that we're going to take over this town.
Since I've been in Birmingham, I've been interviewed by two local newspapers, a local radio station, and a popular women's blog. Plus, I've spoken to hundreds of people on the streets telling them about our grand opening promotion. Someone in Birmingham is just two weeks away from changing their life because we're giving away free maid service for the rest of one person's life. The grand prize is scheduled for October 2, 2009 and you can sign up at http://www.dirtgobblers.com/.
As usual, I don't have any pictures because I never can remember - but I'll do my best to post some pictures of my journey from nothing to something.
P.S. Thank God I have have three of the best managers in the world!! Without them, we wouldn't be opening a new office in Birmingham.
